BEDROOM SKETCHES
Our first home assignment was to sit or lay in our bed and draw our view of our bedroom and everything thats in it, and only allowing ourselves 10 minutes per sketch.
DREAMS AND FEARS DRAWING
For the second class, we had to use one of our bedroom sketches as a starting point for large mixed media drawing about our dreams and fears related to Minerva.
This drawing shows me trapped inside a box. It reflects my fear of stagnation and not being able to leave my comfort zone. The eyes show pressure and expectations, and the rainbow represents hope and my dreams. It is based on a 10-minute bedroom sketch used as a starting point.
COLOR PALETTES
For the second week, we had to walk through the city and compose color palettes with the color combinations we collected.
