I created two alphabets, one Cyrillic and one Latin, to explore the difference in my perception of the word “dream” and its equivalent in my native language, “мечта.”
The Cyrillic alphabet has sharper, more angular and rigid forms. I mainly used metallic objects and details from my room to construct it.

For the Latin alphabet, I chose softer and even ephemeral forms – reflections, curves, fabrics.

In the end, I combined the two words, “мечта” and “dream,” on a single A3 sheet, which became a field of interaction between these words of the same concept but with different meaning in my mind.
