Alphabet one is made with more metal and usefull objects.
Alphabet two consist out of more artistic and natural objects.
3 floorplans assignment
In the final floorplan, I decided to give the desk a font that looks a little like handwriting because I often write at my desk. And, I gave the clothing rack a funky-looking font because I think that clothing can have that same vibe.
Posters on- and of the grid assignment
I decided to title my on-the-grid poster 'Clown Day', because the playing cards, the nutracker and the overall color palette of the objects reminded me of a circus.
I gave my off-the-grid poster the title: 'Spring Festival; are you the giver of nature this year?', because the flowers in the background reminded me of spring, and when I added light coming from the lamp, it reminded me of sunrays in spring. I also wanted to do something with the title of the book 'The Giver', so the question 'Are you the giver of nature this year?' made sense.
Photography Storyline Pamflet Assignment
For this assignment, we had to photograph 2 rooms in our house and capture their mood, character, and atmosphere. We had to take 10 photos per room, which created a storyline. Then we had to make frottages and integrate the frottages in the storyline. You had to make a pamflet of one of the two final results and could only use 5 words each.
Storyline #1
For this storyline, I picked my room and took a few pictures in the morning and afternoon. When I looked at the pictures, I thought about the idea to capture my room in different phases of the day. Then I thought of what storyline I could use, and the phases of the day reminded me of the structure of a song (intro, chorus, etc) or seasons. But I decided to go with the idea that my room was a spaceship starting on earth but making it's way through space.
The first picture is in the morning (takeoff) and the further the spaceship comes, the more time passes during the day. When it goes past the constellations, it hits the unknown, and the last picture is of a footprint in the night, because they may have set foot on an unfamiliar planet.

Storyline #2
For the second storyline, I had to take pictures of another room other than my own, and I walked around my house, but couldn't really find anything interesting. I saw my dad's home office. I thought I could make the storyline about his office into a sort of research because he has this room and he always says he mostly works in there, but when he's up there i always hear him playing loud guitar and watching his show, and this made me wonder... is his office only an office or also his... MANCAVE!
